The flat skid does not support the transfer case and there is an additional cross support on top of the skid for that. The flat skid is plenty strong enough. There have been a few minor updates.... I removed the rear seat and installed a bestop rack, a Powertank CO2 bracket now sits on the driver side roll bar and provides a nice spot for my 5lb tank and I also removed the HID lights off the front bumper and replaced them with a Rigid LED lightbar. I completed my Tentrax trailer overhaul a few months back with an ARB fridge and Rotopax water and fuel tanks. I've just been to pre-occupied to take any pictures. |

brokeagin | I just found this build. Love the build. Interesting reading. I do believe you are a little behind on the last update you said was coming though. Is the rig "finished" or are there more changes coming? |

Sand1235 | Great looking jeep! I'm curious about your transfer case skid plate, any supports on top? Or is it strong enough just flat (3/8?)? |

mossycreek | Thanks for sharing this build. I have read it a few times now, and I love the way it all looks. Its definitely a great rig that gives us something to aspire to. |

aparke4 | Jeep forum app has always been funky on my iphone- lots of random crashes and the screen doesn't fill all the way up. |

Robert J. yates | Yah.... Seats really aren't all that hard to install. Just have to be a bit of a contortionist to get at the factory hardware. I also near you on having to grab something to lift yourself up and out.... Couldn't imagine anymore bolstering for a Jeep that sees regular road use. |

![]() Once I mount them to the roll cage (I'll be working on the cage soon) they will be mounted a little bit lower, and leaned back a little bit more. Will be a more comfortable seating position, and will probably be a little bit easier to get in and out of. Though it's not difficult to get in an out as is. You just can't "slide" out of them like with the factory seats, you have to grab the roll cage and pull your self up and out. Sounds like alot of work, but once you do it a few times and figure it out, it's really no problem. ![]() |
