jdhallissey no I have never even heard of a short arm with bent arms, maybe the dealer only currie J arms. Getting those is like having gold on your truck lol. I dunno if a short arm bent for more clearance would work either.

I never noticed this on any of the lifts I have looked at. Which company makes a short arm lift with curved control arms?

STW 10 years ago it was all about long arm lifts because they give a supple ride, are a major mod (the fun kind), and look really obvious so you can tell your Jeep is far from stock.

Then, people noticed when rock crawling that the long arms and welded pivot brackets dragged on everything. Jerry posted a nice hung-up photo in a recent thread.

So then short adjustable arms became the thing you want, and the best lifts curve and shape the control arms to keep them even more out of the way.
