How many slots for switches?
4 right?
Cause I see shots from time to time of what guys say are Police Versions, show an Ext Idle Switch, but only have a 3 slot bezel. No fog lights.
I am not going to tell you how much I paid cause it would make you cry. LOL.
But I will tell you this much. It is a real Mopar part but not a Police Package Bezel. Different part number then yours.
Mine IS a four slot, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an option on the AHB to have fog lights, which would explain the three switch bezel.

Ralph77 So I drove the Jeep around to check the AC. Figure about 82 degrees on the ambient temp and saw about 44 degrees on my thermometer.
So I get back and throw the gauge set on and it is a little lower then I would like to see it.
So I gave it a bump and got it here. The temperature had reached 85 degrees by this point.
Also got the Lock-Ease in the locks, squirted some Chain and Cable lube down the cable to open the hood from the
bellcrank end, and some White Lithium everywhere else for the hood hinges and whatnot.
Oh and per a forum members suggestion hit the windows with a second coat of Rain-X.
It is hot, I am tired and tomorrow it is supposed to rain so I am calling it for till at least Saturday. LOL.

Good for you.
I paid $75 for mine with the proper pigtail. I thought it was to much but I really wanted it. LOL.
Don't regret it one bit.
You don't want to know I cheap I got that 4 slot factory bezel for though. MLOL.
Going to send you a PM.
Keep an eye out for it.

to keep the RPM at about 1500. So when I swap out my coolant I just throw the switch.
Hang out, smoke cigarettes, and drink coffee. Just make sure that there is some coolant in the funnel at all times.
Now since it only ups the idle to 1000 RPM it does take a few minutes more before all the air burps out.
I am about check my AC today since we are supposed to reach 80 degrees by noon.
The FSM says to have the Jeep idling at 1000 RPM when checking with the manifold gauges.
Throw the switch and good to go.
Fourspeedman had a good idea for another use for it. When stuck not moving in a traffic jam on a hot day
put the Jeep in neutral or park and throw the switch.
I dump my coolant straight from the jug (at idle) and have never had air in the system on any of them. I know TJ's have a self burping system when everything is working properly. I check my AC at the normal idle and leave it in drive when stuck in traffic on hot days. It idles around 650-700 rpms and engine temp stays at 210.

p.s. Now I just jinxed myself for my radiator install when it shows up Wednesday. I think I'll throw on a B&M cooler while I'm at it.

Be honest. LOL.
What did you pay for it?
Did you get the pigtail?
If not a fog light one works. Just have to be careful wiring it. Colors are different.
While a bit more work I recommend wiring it like this guy did.

The part in the beginning where he added a wire to the connector by the firewall.
Instead of splicing into the Pin# A-12 gray wire at the PCM like some guys do.
He did his with the engine out but doable with the engine still in there.
Also I would have to go back over my notes but I figured which fuse in the Junction Box runs
all the lighting with the headlights on. So instead of splicing into one of the orange wires behind
the switch bezel I used a fuse tap from the Junction Box to make the symbol illuminate with the headlights on.

Talking about throwing the fold out pickup truck one in the trash if it won't fit.
Throw out the Lido box? Hell no. I paid $50 for that local to me off Craigslist.
And it needs a new lock. Not like the lock is any kind of real security though. LOL.
I can't even use it because I have the CD Changer box in my Jeep.
But I figured I would never see one again in my lifetime so.....
Now if I could find a driver's side one and get my spare tire on the back of the Jeep
with the '96 and down tire carrier I have that would be awesome.
Why I grabbed the truck one out of the trash.

Yea works out great. Thing is I never extend the legs. The height with the legs not extended is perfect
for that Mac stool you see in the pictures that I picked up for $10 sometime ago.
Another Craigslist find local to me. LOL.

As I get older I have come to some conclusions.
You can never have to many tools or too much tool storage.
You can never have to many surfaces (benches, carts, tables, rubber mats on the ground, etc) to put stuff on.
And you can never have too much lighting.
Especially that last one as you get older. LOL.
