|Ray04TJ||I just recently purchased an 2004 X with 64k miles, I noticed a tapping sound in the engine and took it in for service, free of course with the 3 year 36000 mile extended warranty. It turns out it had a collapsed lifter and also needed a new rear main seal. The other thing that I have not got around to fixing is the a/c only orks on speeds 3 and 4. I havent wanted to part with it again just yet but I will probably take it in soon. There is also four holes on either side of the bumper so I am thinking someone had a tow hitch hooked up? So far no more problems and it runs great.|

33" tires when purchased @ just under 130K
Bought to tear down link bla-bla ended up moving and has seen DD for the last 3 yrs.
just after purchase blew up super 35 R&P wich took out locker. Rebuilt/replaced parts in S35. still in there.
Burned up T-case @ 140K approx. installed Atlas 4 speed. still in it.
35" tires about 155K
2004 Rubicon purchased @ 9K
3 engines later its @ 86K
no problems except issues with 4.0L and damages caused by hack dealers.
A/C doesnt work after 3rd engine install when they tore the O-ring/bent the fitting & wanted to charge us to replace it.
35's Atlas 2 speed installed around 45K
Longfield Cv's about 6k ago.
It suks the motor grenaded twice & being stuck in BFegyptville is never fun but they are storys
The 97' is getting the full
Gen-Rite rockers, corners, tank.
Poly Performance suspension.
Solid 60 Front.
14 BoltFF rear.
That is once my 94Yj is done with its build.

|alt13||97 2.5 364,500ish kms..... so 221,000 miles. 150,000ish kms of which were with 33" tires and no speedo corrections, so showing less then what it actually has. now up to 35's. daily driver and weekend warrior til last winter, now it's just a street legal toy!! No major problems, just regular wear and tear issues.... fuel pump, water pump and steering gear box were the only major replacements.|

'04 130,000, not a single problem out of the old girl. Owned her since day one. Until last week when I sold her.
'99 137,000 no problems since Ive owned her from '06. Except for when I had that warranty and I would take it in every 2 weeks or so and complain of problems. Ive had the whole front pulleys, water pump, distributor, top end and bottom end of the engine, transfer case, transmission, driveshafts, front axles u joints, wheel bearings, ac fan, seat belt retractors and the steering column replaced. Yeah I was very picking about this jeep. I got the warranty with a 25$ deductible and I used every bit of my warranty and I practicaly have a new jeep.
