LenVino Sorry for the late reply, still hoping I can lend a helping hand. I'm in NYC but I'm always down for a short trip to work on a jeep. How about we link up?

Junkyard Hi all. I'm new to the Hudson Valley (living near Carmel) and new to owning a Jeep. Recently picked up a 2008 Rubicon - teraflex lift (type unknown), 37's. I've been doing some basic fluid maintenance, etc. But I'm pretty ignorant about this thing and didn't get to speak to the original owner/builder. Anyone in the area a relative expert on this beast? I think it would be really valuable to have someone who knows these things take a look at it, take it for a drive and give me their thoughts. Feels good overall, but does wander down the road a fair bit. Not sure if that's totally normal for 37's or if there are adjustments that need to be made. Thanks a bunch.

chilipepper98 Bringing an old thread back to life a little... Anyone know if the 909 is still open to motor vehicles? I was reading through some of the older posts on this thread about it, but it's been a while. Thanks!

Realistic options in NYC area are driving to Rausch or AOAA or joining a club. Clubs on LI, North NJ or Hudson Valley (I belong to Hudson Valley 4 Wheelers). Most clubs will have scheduled rides, usually at least once a month, and will often get access to private land that you wouldn't otherwise be on.
