Anyone planning on going to this years All Breeds show in Carlisle, Pa. on the 24th? Weather permitting, I'm gonna try the 60 mile drive down, just for the Saturday show, not staying. Hoping for no rain.
It's the same show. They decided to move it from York to Carlisle. But then last year it was cancelled due to the kung flu. Pack mule seems to always be there and always wins "most prepared" trophy.
Apparently they want it to be smaller instead of larger. They are limiting it to only 500 participants and you have to pre-register. So if it rains.... well, your out $65. I don't even know if they'd mail you your t-shirt.
We were gonna take our Jeeps down, pending weather and work so we couldn't "pre" register. And since they've limited the number of entrants it looks like they will be loosing out on our $150+. I'm not driving 75 miles to take a chance on getting in.
I've tried contacting them over the past few days and got no response. And it appears they keep deleting my question on their fb page.
I was hoping to get out there for the swap meet of parts. Still looking for an original CJ front bumper that isn't bent or has extra holes drilled into it, but I will be working in Atlanta, GA this weekend. Maybe Denny can keep an I out for one if he sees one for sale.
I certainly would if I was going, but pa jeeps inc will not reply to messages I've sent or posts I've made on their fb page. In fact they've twice deleted questions I've posted on their site and there are new posts they've made. That club seems to be going downhill. I don't think we'll ever throw money their way again.
Registration is closed for the show, unless you did it ahead of time. You can park inside the fence but it doesn't matter if your driving VW bug, Cadillac, or a Cherokee.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
