|HildeCJ7||Update…figured out key tumbler. There is a retaining ring you have to compress to pull it out. On the other hand, the shroud still seams locked in place.|

New project…new questions ‘78 golden eagle
Hi guys. “Finished up” my 1980 renegade restoration and on to the 78 golden eagle we picked up. Was sitting in the original owners yard since 1990. Got it running around the neighborhood with minimal effort, so super happy about that. Needs a lot of love though.
The tilt column is very sloppy. I read about the four bolts that come loose and can help solve things. I watched the YouTube video suggested below on the Chevy truck. Everything looks the same except the screw that let him remove the key tumbler. I don’t have one and can’t figure out how to get the tumbler out. I think that’s what’s keeping me from removing the tilt shroud. Any tips would be appreciated!
