leadsled jeep Does Italy have safety requirements for bicycles in the event pedestrians are hit also?

T Hoff Boy that is not attractive. Too boot, it must be a pain to lean over it everytime you are working under the hood

Jeepinpgh This all has to do with EU safety standards for pedestrian collisions. There was an interesting article on this as it relates to the new Ford Bronco. Even the shape of car badges are regulated! https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a3...badge-details/

mak_v8 Here in Italy, bull bars or similar things are illegal.
If the car comes from the factory with things it is ok, but then you can't add it or something else that is not listed in the car title.

You can add things only after a long homologation process, but it is expensive and modifications allowed are really few.
For example, to add winches is a real pain...., steel bumpers another pain....
There are only some parts for some car brands that can be installed, ....at a real high cost.

99% of all the modifications I see on this forum, in Italy can't be done, ...absolutely.

It's Italy....

An example: I have chromed american tow hooks, but I couldn't install them, because they are not homologated in Italy (don't know in the rest of Europe)

Why would a brush guard be illegal?

Wonder if that spoiler is flat enough to be used as a food/drink tray? lol

My guess is booze was involved.
It would take summat stronger than booze to get me to fit one.

HarryH3 It seems that Jeep didn't sell many of those. I've only spotted one in person. I'm also not a fan. Nowhere to mounts lights, winch, etc.
