JKM keep in mind the Overland has air suspension. Can be very costly to fix. Read up on it and some of the experiences others have had.

It is heavily modified, spare set of 18 over sized rims and tires for off road, exhaust by pass cut outs, self made removable roof rails, will hold 180 kilograms. Engine mounted air compressor. GO FOR IT.
BTW, just noticed the "Back Off" mud flaps on your Avatar pic. I had those on my 1981 Dodge Van back in the late 1980s!

I just bought a 2012 Overland about 5 weeks ago or so. I absolutely love it. It sucked up a couple of hundred bucks right off the start, but I now have full confidence in it (99.5K miles) and have been using a lot. I got it as a winter beater/grandkids hauler/utility vehicle and find myself really liking it more than I expected.
I would never recommend buying an older high mile car unless you have the time and money to handle it needing something major on it, but I have no concerns with mine now.

ColdCase There is a buying a used WK2 sticky thread to read through https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f309...d-wk2-4376453/

We went from a 2000 WJ to the WK2 and the WK2 is much better in every way.

The Overland will have more bells and whistles than a WJ or base Laredo, really nice features but then expensive to fix.
