dtrkyman I plasti dipped my chrome grill black, it has a few chips pretty quick but actually holding up pretty good. put on few thousand miles this spring traveling around.

All I did was clean it for prep, with a little better prep it may work out ok. Stuff is easy to use and works just ike the vids you see.

Painting front bumper plasti-dip?

The paint on my front bumper is peeling off. I think it was repainted before I bought the vehicle. Plus when I cut the hole for the winch fairlead it chipped the paint around the hole. I got an estimate from a body shop of $860 to use a new bumper and they would cut the hole for the winch. They said it would be too much work to repaint the old bumper. Now I'm thinking of just spraying it with plasti-dip or some other kind of rubberized coating in a color close to the color of the jeep. Just wanted to get some opinions if anyone has used plasti-dip or any other paint like flex seal or if there is another brand that works good.

Thanks
