So, just to close this thread, fuel pressure checked out good, so I pulled the coil off could see it looked burnt.
Went and grabbed a replacement, put it on and the Wrangler started right up better than ever.
never had a coil fail like that.

Iím not sure of the value but my 94 did the same exact thing and it was the coil.

Another no start YJ thread
OK I'm looking for the resistance value for the ignition coil to test it.
It's a 93 4.0 AX-15 engine is bone stock
I was driving along yesterday about 2000 RPM in 5th gear and the Jeep shuddered a bit and lost power.
The engine died when I de-clutched and we coasted to the side, The engine cranks but will not fire.
I have fuel at the rail, I will check pressure tomorrow when I have a gauge.
Pump cycles when the key is turned on
The computer has power as checked by the check engine light method
Fuses are good checked with an Ohm meter.
I have 12V at the coil but spark is weak when checked at the coil.
Cap and Rotor are in good shape.
It will not fire with starting fluid
I suspect the coil is bad, but want to verify before I just throw parts at it.
Anyone had a coil fail like this?
So back to the point, I'm looking for an Ohm value for both sides of the coil if anyone has them.
Thanks in advance.
