Broke the rear hatch glass

Today I broke the rear hatch glass on my hard top! I was changing the wiper blade and had the wiper arm up. I hit the wiper arm by accident and the arm without a blade smacked the glass and before my eyes the window disappeared into rock salt cubes!. I salvaged the hardware and was able to get the nuts off of everything but the rubber grommets are badly squashed. I'm not sure they would hold the glass well and not leak.
I looked for new rubber parts but was wondering is there a place to get the needed rubber parts as a whole kit? New glass seems to come stripped as a glass unit only. My window has defrost, wiper & washer. Anyone know if there is such a kit? Would the auto glass guy have something like that? I have glass coverage, what a relief.
Thanks!

I've been searching for a window and have come across one on Craigs list no year given. It has all the hardware as well as the wiper motor for a good price. My question is does the glass for all the years fit all the roofs? Seems there is a difference between 97-02 and 03-06. What would be the difference and will it still fit against my 05 tailgate. I'm hoping it will work. As separates the rubber parts and some of the plastic parts are almost the price of the glass!
Thanks for the help!

I seem to be talking to myself here...
Not getting any reply's. The replacement glass is not that easy to pick. How do I decide what year may roof is it appears that the roof has something different making the glass different too. The roof on my Jeep did not come on it so how do I tell the year of the roof to order a new glass? There seems to be 3 categories 97-02 and 03-06 TJ with LJ being 04-06. Excluding the LJ I thought that all the roofs from 97 to 06 fit on any Jeep TJ. The tailgates I think are all the same? So if all the roofs would fit any year why are there 3 categories of glass to choose from? Will any year fit and close properly? Do I really care what glass year I buy?

If it's an original hard top, then yes, from my understanding the glass shape will be different from 97-02 and 03-06. In terms of figuring out what year the top is (if it didn't come with the Jeep), I'm not sure how you can figure that out. I would assume there is a stamp somewhere on the top that would tell you. However, if it's an aftermarket top, you'll have to contact the manufacturer to see if they even make the replacement glass. I purchased a hard top with broken glass, and discovered that the manufacturer did not make replacement glass. In that case, you can make a really solid replacement with Lexan (set me back $70).

That's also good information to know so 03 up has no vents 97 to 02 has vents am I understanding that correctly? After talking with Quadratec they told me that the 03 up glass is what they sell for the 97 to 02 and I guess with the different bottom trim to shut against the tailgate it comes as two pieces for trim kit with the Rubber seal and then the glass

Ok after looking for the right rear window for my TJ here's the real deal...
If you find a rear glass for your hard top power to you! If it's a good glass buy it! It will fit any year from any year! I found nothing so I called Quadratec. They filled me in on what's what. The glass is all the same from 97 to 06. If you buy a window from them your going to get a window for a 03 to 06 as a part #. It comes with a new rubber seal and the plastic edge that grasps the glass and holds the seal. I installed it in my 02, best guess, hard top with a perfect sealed fit.
The glass will set you back 400.00 for a tinted, defrost/wiper glass.
Need a pic? I'll post it

Recently had the same thing happen. My glass is from an '03 up but my top is '02. It fit but the wiper motor cover from mine doesn't fit the new assembly, and it didn't come with a cover. I asked my local JustJeeps and that have used parts for sale (not on their site). They sold me a used but in good condition glass.
