Louie4 Yeah thatís the plan. It runs fine otherwise. But on a hot day with no AC on the Highway it overheats now. It only came to my attention again because the YJ was my daily driver with kiddos. Not any more though.

I would donit after your trip If it only overheats with the AC cranked on high while on the highway long term. Donít want to get into a tear down pickle a month before your trip

Is the ac condenser plugged up with bugs and dirt? How do the fina look?

Louie have you tried bypassing your heater core to see if that might be slowing flow? Or had it been replaced recently

What got off track? Feel like you are overheating? Have an ice cold beer. We are on topic.

Funny you brought that up... every time I'm doing hamburger with Sierra Nevada, the bottle always gets empty before I can add it to the burger!?

fishadventure I don’t really drink, but PBR and Coors Light? At least they don’t smell or taste like silo swill.
Bud, Schlitz, Genesee, Miller all smell like something you forgot in the fridge to me. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale makes a great fish batter or for a hamburger white sauce over noodles. …. I think coors light is handy because it’s not water, tastes clean, and is low in alcohol content (blood sugar issues aren’t bothered)
If it smells like bread- great. If it smells like silage mold no thanks!
