BlackMagic2011 It’s more than likely too late, but if you are still looking in this area I am willing to help out.

Blue_M I have some potential interest in a 1996 Jeep XJ at a roadside dealer in El Paso. Specifically "M3 Auto Sales". I am in Michigan so it's not easy to just go check it out. I am awaiting more pictures than what they currently have posted but learned the hard way with the last Jeep I bought that pictures can hide A LOT! I flew one way to Boston with the intent of buying and driving home an XJ. After a very short amount of time I realized that the Jeep had been in a pretty bad accident and had a ton of sketchy repair work done. The clutch fan was printed in to the back of the radiator, the radiator was bent, the lift gate hinges were changed on the unibody, it seemed as though the roof was replaced, and the paint work on the entire vehicle was less than quality. I didn't buy the Jeep and had to Uber back to the airport and wait 6 hours for a return flight. So I am trying to avoid doing that again!!! I have owned a 1999 XJ, currently own a 2000 XJ and a 2004 WJ. I have been a lurker here for years and this is the first time I found the need to post. I would like to know if someone is local to the area and willing to go to the dealer and check the vehicle out for me. Take a BUNCH of pictures and send them to me. Possibly test drive it for me. I realize it's kind of a crazy time right now......... Not sure what restrictions there are in Texas right now if any. Let me know if your willing to help. It would be greatly appreciated. I may lose interest in this one and make a real similar post for another city down the line but for now this one has my interest piqued the most. Thanks.
