Randonexplosion Ill measure mine when I get a minute but the website says about 16" from bottom to mounting hole. Most others are only 12-14".

You run out of room pretty quick with 14" of travel. Full droop your shocks hit the frame and full bump your tires hit the shock. This is with a JK44 that is 65" WMS and Racelines with 4" of backspace (I think).

how long are those towers?

If anyone isn’t saving or otherwise somehow “protecting” 10-15% of their net income each month (and also have 6-8 month’s income saved) the current ‘demic panic should be an adequate wake up call to the wise.

You’re smart: understanding what’s actually, truly discretionary is a rare trait these days.

danthman update...
so ive been ordering parts here and there with the va checks but have a reasonably big delay. nothing to do with the china virus but with summer coming quickly to Yuma, my air conditioner kicked the bucket on Friday so that was my top priority. theres about 6k gone that I was going to use for the project. damn. life has a strange way to kick you in the proverbial nutsack sometimes...

I had my buddy do the work. He picked up an esab 235 mig a while back and it's excellent. So consistent.
