|xjpete||Let me try to clarify this-The windshield cracked and it was replaced. It didn't leak and then it leaked in another spot-A Jeep Dealer fixed the leak saying he had to reseal where the heater core is. I will try to seal up the wiper motor is as that is where i think it is leaking from.|

My passenger side leak was from my windshield. A remove, regunk with new molding, and replace fixed that.
You say replacing the windshield fixed the leak for awhile?
What does that mean?
Where the fender meets the cowl and inner fender under the hood might be a possibility.
As far as the door seals go if you are talking about the big one around the whole door might be best to go Mopar.
We had this guy on this forum that did these awesome builds.
He stated that on his first build he used the aftermarket seals and was not really satisfied with them.
On his second decided to go with Mopar ones. Despite the cost which is pricey.

My 97 XJ has had quite a life. The windshield was replaced years ago and a Jeep dealer sealed a problematic leak that was fixed for a while. The heater core was replaced when that leaked, I removed the carpet on the drivers side and passenger side. When it rains the drivers side gets a leak that runs down the channel in the floor. Has anyone had luck replacing the door seals and which ones? Would that solve the leak issue? It doesn't get wet every time it rains. Any other areas to look for? No sunroof on my 97.
