Just to come back to this... I got it all sorted out..
There was literally no fluid in the case!
No signs of a leak anywhere either...
Iíve filled it back up and all seems to be working fine again...

Petronas Arbor was supplied to me by the Jeep dealer who only charged me £9 for 5 litres! as they hadn't changed the retail unit from £9 per bottle to £9 per litre.
I think Jeep have changed the spec again to an 80 weight oil now.
no longer an option for me since they went bankrupt and my closest one is 80 miles away now

|Spyder62||With Quadra trac 2 your not gonna get all wheel drive.(4 wheels spinning) Only one wheel on each differential will spin at a time.( Open differentials) it’s possible you have an optional limited slip in the rear. (Both wheels spin in the rear)For the most part 4 wheel drive is actually two wheel drive. Onewheel spins in the front and one wheel spins in the rear.|

I tried the 4lo on the way home and I can feel that all 4 wheels have traction.
Iíll be doing the oil change in a couple of weeks, so I guess fingers crossed thatíll fix it!
