They are simply zip-ties style that are made out of Velcro making them reusable. They were CHEAP so I bought some from eBay.

I never thought of velcro for that. That's gotta look pretty good.

258 Replaced Air Cable (PITA)
Re-routed some wiring under dash
Velcro Tied all loose wires in engine compartment


* Need new bulbs in Volt/Oil gauges. The LONG ones installed just don't seat tight. (need the find the RIGHT upgrades!
* Need a new vent hose. It was dried and brittle.

PLM Got my on board air compressor mounted and hooked up. Use a 1 hp Puma compressor with pressure switch and unloader valve. I will try to post some pics tomorrow.

Thanks. Lots of work just to keep the stock looking fenders. It really doesn't sit that high, for being on 39" tires.

Not really. Just plan,plan,plan. read as much as you can, and do a ton of research. Put some thought into exactly what you want it to be capable of. Driver, trail rig, rock crawler?

Macoob2003 skizriz, that's a nice looking rig! I'm in Colorado & have an 84 CJ7. I'm putting a Ford 5.0L, NV3550 transmission, Dana 300 T-Case, Sterling 10.25 rear, Dana 44 front (both with 4.88), a tri-link up front, 37" tires, a family roll cage (tied into the frame), and was wondering if you have any suggestions to make my build a smooth one.

I bought one off ebay b/c the leather was a tad bit better than my original, which still has the black handle. I'm likely going to be parting ways with that one.

Put the black grab bar back on. Those Loredo Grab bars are worth a lot of money.

uw91 - Beat my head against my dash... hating electrical
- Prepped my cig lighter connections for when I get electrical done in 4 years
- Found a better ground location for my dash from battery. (Bottom of glovebox door)
- Installed my body matched oh-sh*t bar that I fixed up and painted to get rid of the black and have the leather pop.
- Beat my head against my dash... hating electrical
- Installed my new antenna that replaced the old one, finally!!!

Toms-CJ7 Failed again to find and fix my rattle, driving me craaaazy. Today I replaced the transfer case mounting and torque are bushings, they were shot. Still no joy. Rattle rattle rattle. Sigh
