V8GCZJ You can get stand alone units like the Mojave that hook up to coolant lines from the motor.

mukluk If you're thinking about installing an electric heater in your Jeep, just stop now. Unless you're towing a sizeable generator behind the Jeep to power said heater, you simply aren't going to generate enough power to run an electric heater that comes close to the same output as a conventional automotive unit that uses the engine's waste heat.

Installing a heater in an 81 CJ5

Admitted Jeep n00b here and this is my first post. I purchased an 81 CJ5 with no heater in it. Anyone have a thread, link or video as to how to install one? Recommendations for a brand vs OEM? I read a little about Mojave heaters but couldn't find a ton of info. Thanks in advance!
