|222Doc||i run 8psi on plain wheels of steel. best to have wheel width of 9" or less on any 12.5 wide tire. Has worked on any trail i have been too.|

Beadlocks being illegal is an old myth.
From that link:

|jeepdaddy2000||Beadlocks are designed for high horsepower vehicles running large tires and extremely low air pressures that see abrupt/heavy throttle applications in high traction situations. Under these circumstances, a driver can hit the throttle and see a tire peel off a rim.|

|Kruzin||Unless you are doing serious crawling with pretty large tires where you drop your air pressure to under 10 psi, beadlocks are overkill. They aren't even street legal in many areas, relegating them to trail only rigs that you trailer around. Plus, there's a LOT of things to spend money on to get the Jeep to a point where it would "need" them.|

Beadlocks How important?
Just starting with my Jeep/Off-roading addiction. Lol so I’m curious and could find any thread about it. At what point do beadlocks start to really be necessary. Seems like most people don’t bother with them.
