So you're saying that the reason the midget is wearing a jacket is that it's an ornamental midget.

A hood ornament.

Where'd he get the midget, and why is the midget standing on the hood?

My daughter has already hit two deer this year up in Virginia. I wonder if she could get one of those faux cow catchers for her Kia Rio. The insurance company would probably subsidize one, too. Rio vs deer usually results in the Rio losing.

fishadventure The thing about Dakar as an event was they always made an effort to ratchet things back to try to keep the untouchable open-checkbook efforts from dominating.

The cannonball run is was mostly that way until the last ten years or so but it’s still fun to read about. Even though it’s become something like indycar in untouchable tech I’m still fascinated by the idea https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cul...rs-25-minutes/

I know, right? Looks super useful. I usually end up with a piece of 4x4 between the jack and the frame.
Looks like a great scrap metal project
I’ve got some 1/2” rounds in my collection that’ll do for the adjuster pin. A couple nesting pipe drops should be scroungable.
