Very expensive and luckily the dealership who I purchased the Jeep from will cover the expenses because Iíve only had it for about 3 months and with my job I drive a lot so I put a lot of miles on it even though when I bought it it did have a lot of miles but it is a 2013 and I heard Jeepís do not lose value? Currently itís in the shop and I will pick it up tomorrow. Then I can finally get my new bumpers installed and enjoy it for the summer.

Hmm I would have thought one would need to upgrade the master to a disk/disk type setup in order for the rear brakes to work properly since it has drums currently.
But wither way, Im gonna slap i that 8.8 just need to make sure it isnt the 3:73 ratio (or whatever it comes in) which for some reason I think it might but Ill figure it out..

And I feel ya on the job part! Now that I moved less than 2 years ago Im still building out my large shop on the lower property, got my 2 post lift installed and another one going in soon, pouring another slab at 50x30'.
And Im doing 95% of the work solo, on top of working on trucks all day!

I work on Toyota trucks as my job doing lifts, custom shock relocations, fabrication and welding and full builds, Im so dang busy I wish I could clone myself! I'd get so much more done, haha.

Thanks, thats the smarter way to go anyway. Guess I have to change the master cylinder as well due to rear disk brakes..I'd better do some research.

Just so dang busy building my new shop and developing the property, as well as building trucks almost every day..so much in fact that Its hard to work on my own projects!

So Ive been needing to fix my Jeep for a while now and just been to busy or just havent made it a priority. Its time to fix the darn thing.

What is the problem you may ask? Well I started hearing odd noises in the rear diff on the way back from Havasu in the middle of the desert off the 177. It was a ticking that seem to hit with every ring gear rotation. I had no tools and still had over 230 miles to go and had a trailer on the back, oh boy.

So I ended up driving home and kept the speeds low, oddly enough the sound slowly subsided. Got home and pulled the rear diff cover off and what should be gear oil looked like anti-sieze! After cleaning it out I realized that the ring gear bolts were actually backing out and grinding away. 2 bolts were out completely and 3 others had the heads sheared off.
And no I never did any work in the rear diff (D35 w 3.07) except for adding a lunchbox locker. Apparently someone doesn't like loc-tite or torque specs, lol.
Long story longer, does anybody have a stock D35 w3.07 gears they wanna sell? I can just use a stock one and cut and reweld my shock mounts and strike plates on to.
I would swap over to 4.10s but I have an ARB front locker for the 3.07 and wont work due to the carrier size break.
Or I can just use some gears and Ill just set it up which is probably easier since I have coilover mounts and whatnot that need to be cut and rewelded. All for a POS D35!
Anyway hope all is well with everyone!

Anyway, how much does something like that cost? Changing bumpers?
You're pretty close by. Stop by Jeff's freedom resort in el Cajon this Saturday and we'll get it done. We can teach you how to wrench if you want. PM me or jbolty (Jeff) if you want the address.
Okay. Here’s the bumper.
