lovett86 So with all the Corona going around I'm holding off on spending any money on the jeep. That being said I have my wife's Camaro on Jack stands, moved the wheels to the shed, I'm replacing all the brake lines. Carb is off and rebuild kit orderd. It's a Rochester quadrajet. I think it's a 800cfm. I'm gonna convert it to electric choke. Last time I had the car running I blew a line backing it into the garage. Alot of the brakes and suspension were replaced before it went into storage so it wont take much to get it in the road.

It's a small single car garage. I have to much equipment and parts. The car has sat here for the last 3-4 years probably. My wife and son are looking forward to driving it.

lovett86 Been taking more loads of scrap in. Was quoted just under a 1000 for the 2 converters I have hanging in the garage. So when I'm ready to take them in il have some good money from that for the jeep. Might be picking up some cars/SUVs just to scrap as well so I should have some more progress coming up soon on the jeep.

lovett86 Not much work on the jeep. Took some loads of scraps in and got some extra cash. Got a roof rack and a new set winter tires for my crv from work, both for free too.

lovett86 Got the 2nd shift rail seal done. This one was a pain to get out. The shift rail was opened over on a couple of the detents which made it difficult coming out. Got everything filed down and cleaned up and re assembled.

Still have to clean and paint the seal cover for it. That's tommorows job.

lovett86 2 coats of paint and primer on the case and air cleaner forgot to take a pic of the case.

Started replacing the shift rail seals. One is done. They have been replaced at some point but don't look like they were installed correctly. A little more corrosion on the rails then I'd like to see, but I can replace them down the road if needed.

The guy I bought the case off of was a machinist and built his own twin stick adapters. He had a hand full of jeeps at his place. I got my cj hood from him as well.

lovett86 I also primed the stock air cleaner st the same time. Should have a 2nd coat on tommorow then paint. If time allows il order some bearings this week.

lovett86 I've sanded down the and cleaned up the transfer case housing and the air cleaner for the jeep. Gonna sand down the front bumper and hopefully get all of them primed tommorow.

lovett86 Havent orderd the bearings yet. But I've priced out the ones I need. There like 20 bucks a peice which is cheap. I did pick up a can of primer to go on the case and some other parts I have at work waiting for paint.

I like using tremclad. It seems to hold up well as long as you prime and paint it.
