BigTizzie Right after I bought mine I went to Texas (COTA for the F1 races) and back. No problems other than the A/C being a bit under charged. Which I DIY'd.

I think the only thing I will have is a trip to Omaha in April sometime. I have visions of going to the mountains this summer.

It is quite easy to install, but you must bend over and twist your body a bit. Perhaps you could instruct a family member how to do it and let them do the bending. The package3d instructions are4 very good.

KCZ I've had my 2020 GC Limited for a little over 2 months now. I bought it because I needed something that had an AT, was comfortable, and good to drive, but still dirt-road-in-winter capable. I used it for about 2 months of misery with a back injury, followed by back surgery last week, and then home this week. I have to say that driving/riding in this vehicle is about as comfortable as it gets in my situation, and I'm really happy with my purchase decision. I can't wait until I'm better recovered so I can drive it more, and of course while I'm sitting around looking at car websites, I'm getting ideas. I wonder how much bending it takes to put that smart-stop-start thing under the seat. Hmmm.

trailhawk2614 28K and 22 months in on our Trailhawk and still loving it. We've had a couple of problems but the warranty and a competent dealer was able to take care of them. Looking back on the different vehicles we considered when the bought the Jeep I'm still convinced we made the right choice. We take several 7-8 hour road trips a year as this thing is great for them. Just load all the stuff in the back, buckle up, gas up, and go! Perfect road trip vehicle.

Labswine I'm on my 7th GC.

I had a 93 Laredo I-6 that I stoopidly sold for a '96 Ram Xtra cab 4x4 (piece of junk). Then I traded the RAM in for my '96 Laredo with the I-6 Selec-Trac. MODS: FMS 22# injectors, opened the intake and exhaust, 2.5" lift. Took that to 240K miles and donated it to charity with electrical issues. Then I had an 03 Laredo I-6 (totaled when I blacked out behind the wheel and rolled it), an '02 SE with the 4.7L. Great car until the cooling fan went and no one could get another anywhere. Traded in for an 08 Overland 5.7L, added a 2.5" lift and Good sized Hankook Dynapro ATMs. Went through 2' of snow like it was on dry road Sold that when I moved to Kyiv Ukraine to teach English. Came back and bought an 11 Overland 5.7L. Great car, comfy but the MPGs were horrible (not even close to the MPGs of my '08). Traded in for a 2019 Limited 3.6L, Garnet red with the frost beige interior. Love it!!! Well, my wife loves it I guess I like GC's. It'is the sister for my Gladiator

I drove a high-end Cherokee the same day I bought our 2018 JGC Limited. That was what sealed the deal...after that...it had to be the GC...

Like when returning from a long trip at 1AM to find over a foot of fresh snow at the airport with nasty near blizzard conditions, 20 miles of not well maintained winding back roads, and an unplowed driveway in front of you to appreciate the WK2 QD and V8. It was my first snow drive with the Michelin Defender LTX and there was not a moment of concern. The Jeep/Defender combo loved frolicking in the snow when not being hampered by the few struggling cars. Confidence inspiring. Our challenging steep uphill driveway, one that breaks mere mortals, is filled with 8 inches of fresh dense snow on top of 6 inches of day old stuff… I paused, and thought about hiking in and doing a bit of snow blowing.. but screw it. I switch to ORA1 to gain some clearance for the mound that the street plows left at the entrance and the potential drifts. Then the WK2 just does its thing without drama, up the steep driveway tracking through the curves and straight into the garage, no tire spin that I noticed, no sweat with plenty of V8 torque to push through the deep dense snow (I was using snow mode throughout). Spouse was in awe as her 2009 Liberty is more challenging to drive in similar conditions. The Liberty is shod with aggressive snow tires and would have handled the street fine, but I would have had to clear the driveway. Its nice to be home, relaxed, and without working up a sweat. There have been quite a few reports like this over the years but I think the "Enjoying My GC" thread needed another one .

I was pleasantly surprised by the Defender LTX tire performance, tracking very well, plenty of grip, bitting through deep snow. My previous Nito 420Qs were a slightly better highway tire but floated in these conditions. They would have provided much more drama and entertainment. I think the Defenders worked a bit better in these conditions than my Blizzaks, but then I wasn’t faced with ice where the Blizzaks excel. Tires are full of compromise. My neighbor’s said his Nokian WR G4s worked well up to about 3-4 inches of snow when they started to float and struggle a bit.

Sorry, too dark for photos. I thought about taking one of the snow packed wheels, but then I had things to do.
I can almost feel your excitement driving the GC in the snow. There are people who would say "oh ****" when seeing a lot of snow and then there are people like you saying "oh yes!" and really excited to go out lol.
