PSC Steering Gearbox & Hydraulic Assist Ram
Just moved to Missouri, finally getting around to changing out for PSC's upgraded Big Bore gearbox and their ram along with Blaine's nearly bolt on kit. Also raised my steering shaft up 1" with MORE's new mount.
Excited to check out some MO trails, Flat Nasty and SMORR here I come!

After that first trip off-road I found out my front inner axle seals were leaking when I found green sludge pouring out. Replaced both front seals

Got to test it out today - pretty good except for an unrelated issue where I lost power steering
Naches Pass still has snow. Planning to try to do the Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route over the long weekend

My stupid self decided I wanted to see how the slave cylinder worked and pushed on the clutch pedal while I had the slave cylinder out of the transmission... bad idea. Ruined my slave cylinder. I got a new one and it works great! Super easy to install, also changed the master cylinder while I was at it

Finally wrapping up this project, should have one more video to come for the lockers (I want to wait to get driveshafts so I can putt around and test the lockers)
In this one I remove and install both the transfer case and transmission. I replaced the clutch and repaired the input bearing the retainer on the NP241. One thing to note that I didn't add is that The 4WD sensor on the NP241 and NP231 are not the same, I cut and soldered the plugs
Also - be careful. Here's what happened to my finger

Some things I also knocked out during this project:
Bleeding Brakes... still have to tackle removing the ABS proportioning valve and such
Rust proofing my jeep. I used Eastwood Internal Frame Spray, POR-15, and Fluid Film. I did this with my transmission and transfer case removed and even removed my gas tank so I could get better coverage

Dana 44 Axle Swap
The first of quite a few videos for this project.
Using my downtime from the coronavirus wisely and working hard on the Jeep. Got the axles swapped over fairly easily, still will be a few more weeks before I can drive them, though
Have to wait until the transfer case is installed to measure and order new driveshafts

It would be a shame to let a rubi LJ go if it really only needs a grill and radiator. These aren't easy to come by, specially in our neck of the woods.

|07wurubi||You should rebuild the LJ instead. Unless it isn't worth rebuilding, hence it being salvaged.|

|DoodlesTJ||Haha yeah but she's actually great, she's been helping me a ton with the project|

Doodles' 06 TJ Build Thread
Uh oh, the woman in the photo certainly does not look happy about the purchase...

Finally did it. Bought a salvaged '05 LJ Rubi to swap the axles, transmission, transfer case, lockers, and some more goodies into my TJ. Many more videos to come

Rear Coil Spacers
Put in some 3/4" Budget Boost Rugged Ridge Coil Spacers in the rear to compensate for the extra weight of my new LOD bumper/tire carrier
