Hello mikeesm,

If you end up going into the dealer for an inspection, let us know. We're available via direct message and would be happy to help with that process.

I had the same issue, dealer replaced sway bar, links, and bushings in January and it stopped. Last night I heard the dreaded noise again, but it wasn't as loud as when I originally got them fixed... it's quite annoying, and I know the air suspension puts extra stress on the sway bar... these things are made like crap

ColdCase Don't see it listed, but did the shop replace the sway bar and links? That was what fixed the OPs Jeep (post 16).

Same Noise Issue - any one have solution

I could have wrote the original post! 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, front end left side noise. Seems less noticeable during the rain. Dealer/repair shop had it approx 6 weeks looking at it, replaced the lower control arms, bushings & links, upper control arms, spring air..something?? The told me it was all fixed, but it's clearly not. I've spent a few thousand at this point and not sure what or where to go next. Does any one have any answers/suggestions on this issue? Thanks

I have a set of race ramps for my racecar that I use, in combination with OR2, so I don't jack it up at all.

When reading on here that it could be the struts, it starts to make a lot more sense, as the sound is akin to the sound of a damper "topping out". I've had a similar thing on my mountainbike suspension when I add too much air in the shock.

leonbmx I thought it was just me! I have a 2015 Summit Ecodiesel and when I first had the clunking, I replaced the end links with Bwoody ones, that solved it, for a few weeks. I already had swaybars on order (Hellwig rear and SRT front) so while I installed those, I checked every bolt of the suspension, all were tight.

This solved the problem for a few months, but yesterday I took the Jeep on some fire roads, and all of a sudden, the clunking is back! I checked all the bolts upon my return, but nothing (that I can reach from underneath) is loose??

I'm guessing that if I go to the dealership they are going to claim that all the work I did myself is the culprit, so I'm torn if I should even bother...

It's really annoying me that a 60k car, that is claimed to be off road capable, is built so poorly.

studdave I have a 2015 GC Limited 4x4 and Im starting to get a noise on the passenger side that only occurs when going over speed bumps or the suspension travels. It seems as if something is rubbing and it is louder during the winter months. I plan on bringing mine in soon to see if they can figure this out.

Did the OP ever find a fix for this?

JPOH15 I have a 2015 Grand Cherokee that has been to the dealership numerous times for front end noise. The last time I was told it's normal tire noise. I don't buy it.

This video is the noise I get over bumps. You can hear it throughout the video but it stands out pretty well between these times: :08 - :20, :52 - 1:00, and 1:40 - 2:00 especially with earbuds in.
