Yeah UPS - nearly All packages I receive that are shipped through them, the boxes are Either: partially Crushed/Dented, and sometimes Torn Open.
*I believe "Lloyd Christmas" is our delivery driver out here!!

Still waiting for UPS to deliver my radiator. I didn't pull the old one because I know how UPS treats fragile packages. I'm sure the radiator will be damaged when I get it. I'm not sure who's worse between them and FedEx. I need to get this done to get my state inspection this month.
p.s. I sure hope the driver looks like this.

So I take back not being happy about the wiring harness being cut. Still wish they did not cut the hinges though.
Having pigtails made it easier to check the regulator and actuator to see if they worked.
They appear too.
Anybody ever take apart an actuator to refresh it?
So in case anybody is interested a rear door comes apart pretty easy. Learned a couple things and had 1 oh oh moment.
So if you are replacing a rear regulator and the window is stuck up you can move it around enough after unbolting the regulator to drop the window enough to get at the torx
holding it to the regulator with a wobbly extension. Also if replacing an actuator it is easier to unhook the lock rod to the door handle on the actuator
instead of the door handle. And when you take off the door handle pulling the lock rod through attached is not a problem.
That is the lower hinge. I stripped one torx so had to cut the head off and the other just snapped.
The plate just hooks on a couple hooks in the door. You can see the one oblong hole. My thumb is covering the other.
The top hinge came right off. And I was trying to see if they were the same. Problem is that there is a runner for the window
that is part of the door so it is not letting you unhook the plate. So I can't get it out. I checked my parts catalog and best I can
tell they don't even list the part so I can't tell that way. But the shim plate is the same top and bottom so it might be. And it does
look the same so if you could find a door to cut up you could get the top to replace the bottom one.
At least it being out of the Jeep might make it easier to undo my mistake.
Last you have to look close but you can see the little rust pin points that formed under the window molding.

From time to time I get compliments on how clean my Jeep is. While I enjoy the support as I have told you guys not exactly as clean as you think.
With rain today and tomorrow figured I would see if I could deal with some of that. Awhile back I picked up 4 black doors for $100 local to me off Craigslist.
Not perfect but kind of in better shape then mine. So some shots of my rear passenger door which is one of the sore points on the Jeep.
So while in better shape rust wise not so much paint wise. I always wanted to take apart a door completely.
So I am going to putz around with that. They cut the harness and hinge. To bad cause who doesn't like spare parts. LOL.
I have taken rear windows out and a front door regulator and glass but that is about it. So this will be a learning experience.
Once apart I will see how much I can clean up the door and bring back the paint. And go from there.
First 3 shots are my door on the Jeep. Rest are the one I bought.

So I drove the Jeep around to check the AC. Figure about 82 degrees on the ambient temp and saw about 44 degrees on my thermometer.
So I get back and throw the gauge set on and it is a little lower then I would like to see it.
So I gave it a bump and got it here. The temperature had reached 85 degrees by this point.
Also got the Lock-Ease in the locks, squirted some Chain and Cable lube down the cable to open the hood from the
bellcrank end, and some White Lithium everywhere else for the hood hinges and whatnot.
Oh and per a forum members suggestion hit the windows with a second coat of Rain-X.
It is hot, I am tired and tomorrow it is supposed to rain so I am calling it for till at least Saturday. LOL.

I am not going to tell you how much I paid cause it would make you cry. LOL.
But I will tell you this much. It is a real Mopar part but not a Police Package Bezel. Different part number then yours.

p.s. Now I just jinxed myself for my radiator install when it shows up Wednesday. I think I'll throw on a B&M cooler while I'm at it.
