theferaledge All the ZJs are stalling like crazy. The "Dirty Dozen" is a great place to start for sure, helped me figure my issues in my 93. Good luck.

paulsheer2 can you reproduce the problem at all?
i.e. can you get it into a non-starting state?
once it is in a state where it won't start, then you can put the hood up and try all sorts of diagnostics while trying to start it

what you are describing could be twenty different causes, like,

coil, spark plugs, electrical short, elec ground, fuel pump, crank position sensor, cam position sensor, PCM, and so on.

buy some diagnostic equipment:

1. fuel pressure tester,
2. vacuum tester,
3. test light,
4. spark strength light.

all cheap stuff at harbor freight

95 ZJ Stalling While Driving

I have a '95 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L 6-cyl automatic 2wd. Have not had any problems with it for the past year (only drive it in the summer). 2 days ago it stalled while at a red light, yesterday it stalled while turning into the driveway, and today it stalled while going about 55mph. I drove it about an hour yesterday after the stall and it ran completely fine. I also did the "Key Test" and no codes showed, just 55

Before spending money on parts that are not related to this issue, I wanted to see if any of you guys had the same issue and know (or can at least narrow down) what the problem might be. Thanks for any and all help
