After installing adjustable IRO upper and lower arms and IRO 3.5 lift my front wheels are 1 to 1 1/2 inches to far to passenger side how do I correct this I'm waiting for my IRO OTK steering to take into shop next week for alignment but is there any way to fix this problem now.
no I added the track bar that came with the lift its adjustable do I need to disconnect track bar roll jeep back and fourth till its centered then reattach track bar or is that just wishful thinking
I may attempt what you stated here. So, which end of the track-bar is the best to disconnect, as far as reassembly? Does it make a difference? I ask because my axle is off to the side a bit on my '98. I've never had the track-bar off, and it is stock. I have, however, added UC springs to front and rear, and replaced front LCA's. All other CA are original. Thanks.
Sorry about the minor hijacking, but I figured the OP might find the answer useful as well. I didn't think it was worth a separate thread started. Cheers.
I have also unbolted the track bar and used a ratchet strap and a tape measure to center the axle, then adjust the track bar from there. I have been off half an inch or so and thought that was close enough in my book.
Why in the world would you ever have to use a ratchet strap in the front? You can even do it with the steering wheel if you are alone.
