It didnt affect the flow of air at all... I installed mine so that water would not blow past the seals when I dumped the soft top out, or hard rains would put it on my feet as well... mine faces forward and I have NEVER had water come through the vent since the Cover was put on.
I didnt do it for added airflow as I knew it wouldnt work, I strictly put it on to keep the water out.
My YJ's heater would sweat me out with the 2.5L, the 355 burns my feet. Never had to mod for more heat.
mine looks like this, only in a smoked plastic look

|Fixins13||I've got one. I faced mine in the backwards direction as I did not want to pound water down into the intake everytime it's raining. I don't have AC so I can't attest to improvements on that but as far as inproving the flow of the heat? None. You want more heat? Do the Blazer blower motor mod. http://www.jeeptech.com/body/heater.html|

A/C Air Scoop?
Has anyone purchased an A/C Air Scoop. Its says that it will improve air flow with your A/C and Heater. My A/C does not work too great when I'm running down the road very fast, but it almost blows ice when I'm sitting still. And can it be painted?
