|Karottop||I'm still unsure why the orange wires were dead, I think they go through a switch by the steering column which kills the power. Instead there's a fuse in the fuse block labeled Fog Lights that has no wire going to it or out of it but for some bizarre reason it was hot. Just used a fuse tap and ran a new wire, split it off to 3 ends in case I want to add more switches later. Works like a champ!|

98 TJ SE bezel switch wiring
I need help from someone either with a 98 Sahara or someone who has wired bezel switches in a 98 TJ SE.
I'm putting fog lights in and I want them independent of the headlights. I put a switch in the bezel and ran power from the rear defogger relay in the PDC to my fog lights relay to power the lights. The continuity for the main power is good, I'm having my problem with the switch wiring in the bezel. I checked for continuity in the wires behind the bezel that would be powering switches if I had a Sahara and they seem to be dead.
My question is, can anyone tell me what color wires are powering what switches/accessories on a 98 Sahara. And does anyone know why those wires wouldn't be hot?
I've tried with the key in start, run and accessory, none work. All the wiring diagrams I've seen are inaccurate when it comes to the switch wire colors. I hear they change from year to year
