Cooling system overhall

Finally finished my full cooling system replacement.
Replaced:
Mopar Radiator
Water Pump
Thermostat
Thermostat Housing
All tubes
New CT clamps (to spec!)
Fan clutch

Did a full flush and refilled with Xerex G-05.

Started her up and ran for 30 mins with no leaks.

My baby is still not road ready, but now is not leaking coolant on my garage floor.

Greengrassdad Replaced the idler pulley, and now my mysterious fan belt noise is gone! Yay! Headed to Corolla, NC this weekend to run her on the beach for a few hours. Looking forward to it.

Looks great! I had hail damage in the middle of my old Jeep hood. I cheaped out and bought a roll of Tough Stuff thick textured rocker gasket vinyl and made some Apex edition looking stripes that covered it up. I'm cheap and impatient.

Jonny Jeep Nice work. I'm going to have to get on of those kits to do a dent in my hood that's been bugging me for years.

Man that turned out so much better than I imagined. I’ve always wondered about the method, for at home purposes. I bought a kit, but haven’t used it as of yet...

Tylervalo Ball joints, u-joints, front and rear brakes and brake bleed. Also took the time to re-apply the correct Rubicon and Jeep decals.

Ben Hey guys. Been a while.

Trailered the Wrangler out to the woods where it will park for a while.
Shot it full of fluid film, drained the gas, too the PRP seats out, and took the "for sale" ads down.
Gonna leave it up on the old trailer. Next to the old dump truck (which is also parked indefinately after a failed inspection for wallowed kingpins).
So this is the parking area of temporarily failed dreams.
They both need Meritors and monster truck tires.

Don't worry. It's not a sad story.

It was mostly to make room for the new kid on the block.

This big bad mother****er.

2019 Chevy 5500HD 4x4

Here's the front axle U joint. 5" across. Dana 30 is about 3". Dana 60 is about 4".
Keeping it TJ Tech for when you want to swap a front axle from a silverado medium duty!

Arty McGeep I started working on learning paintless dent repair to get rid of the hail damage on the hood of my TJ. I bought a cheap kit from ebay,,,like 40 bucks, and to my surprise, it's coming along quite nicely. It's a total PITA tho and you need lots of patience. I can't say I can do it perfectly yet, but I can get most of the dents out I'd say 90%. It's that last little bit on most of them that seems to be the hardest part. I've just been glue pulling and tapping down. It's been interesting. Eh, if I mess it up, I can always get a poison spyder louvered hood!

Greengrassdad Installed a new BT head unit. The kids wanted to play music from their electronic devices. Bought a kit from Qtec. Easy install, and I can't believe how clear the mic is for making phone calls. Even driving at hwy speeds, it cancels out all wind and road noise. Looking forward to seeing how it does with the top off this summer.

If its something that was 10$ I'm generally replacing it, lmao.
