This comes from ERIC Zappes Jeep cherokee xj builders guide,does not say how many 2 doors were made in 95 but in total there were120,234 Xj's made in 95 which is fairly close to preveious and prior years.

mbardeen I installed OME coils & leafs a couple weeks ago. Big difference in ride & handling, nice height gain.. Here's how she sits now:

Nice! Did you have to use the older style bumper? I've actually seen the hidden winches on the '97+s, but they seem to mount a bit differently. The cable comes out underneath the bumper somehow, rather than through the middle of the bumper.

habbyguy Congrats on the find! I agree that the 2-door, 5-speed XJ is the most desirable, at least to me. Mine's got the same set-up as yours, but with the "normal" NP231 transfer case. But it's also got the Chrysler 8.25" rear end, which saves us any upgrade cost or hassle unless we go nuts with other mods. I plan on keeping my XJ for as long as it will run (aka "forever").
