twoscooterz Are there any new developments on this? I'm looking for something new to add to my Christmas wish list!

Cutlass327 I put the 1" mark over the bolt, and it still doesn't touch the sticker. In the 2nd picture I have the end of the tape above the emissions sticker that was painted over. I would imagine that if you made them to clear the sticker, it would also clear the speaker.

Is the dash on a 74 the same as that of a 65?
Good question! My guess would be no because the tub was new in '72. Double D Fabrication makes all three vintages as does Aqualu for their aftermarket dashes, so that may be an indicator that there are three templates.

I will, thanks! There might be an early 70s Jeep close by that I can measure. I'll check in the next few days. Thanks for the compliment on the hangers. I'm glad you like them!

Does anyone know why the OP stopped making the brackets?
I think Jeremy sold his plasma table some time ago. One thing I'd like to avoid on the later CJs is covering the speaker grille slots. Some I've seen do that and I really see no need to do that. They should also work if the owner wants to retain the dash cover too.

twoscooterz I'm still interested in a set too. Unfortunately, I discovered this thread right after the OP stopped making them...

StoneTower I would like to see some brackets with two gussets and a place for a 1" hardened bolt that could thread up into a threaded slug that is welded into the front hoop of a roll cage. It would make it easy to remove the brackets to remove the dash and access everything behind the dash.

Jim1611 I'll 2nd that bump.

Zorty Bump to try and keep this alive in case anything is still available. Even a drawing or 3d file to try and get some made on our own.

Taking the plunge of swapping a YJ style family rear into my CJ, and would like to rebuild my front sport cage using the dash brackets. Come on!

StoneTower If there are images, I would love to see them. When I quoted your message, I see that there is a link to CJ-8.com and I believe that unless you are a member over there, you cannot see them on here as I do not see the link in the thread. It was only in the quote that I saw the link.
