Tommy R Close to a year ago I bought a new trailer. 20' (18+2) Load Trail with 5k axles, 102" width, etc. I've only towed with it once and it was with my old truck.

It'll be towed by this from here on out. 2019 Ram Rebel 1500 with a Hemi.

BuckeyeNative Recently relocated from CO to VA and this is how the LJ made the trip. The trailer is a PJ 18ft dovetail rated at 10K. The Jeep is secured using axles straps/tie-downs and the chain/binders are added to minimize the bouncing around.

I go directly to the axles to tie my rig down. Tire nets would be a nice convenience someday. When I bought my straps from Mac's Custom Tie Downs, I watched one of their videos about strapping down your rig. I'll attach it below.

Joe Dillard My new then, '02 WJ 4x4 V8 Limited. Towed my YJ only once with it - scary.

My new then, '03 Ram 2500 5.7L Hemi 2wd Quadcab. Towed my YJ many, many times with it. Several times across country.

My '90-something Silver Eagle RV. Towed my YJ across the country a few times with it.

My new '07 Ram 3500 dually MegaCab 4x4 5.9L CTD. A few cross country trip & LOTs of trips to Johnson Valley/Hammers.

Bought a used '06 Ram 2500 MegaCab 2wd 5.9L CTD. Number of trips across country & local offroad.

Towed my Hellcat, SxS & bass boat with it a number of times too.

No pics of my YJ being towed with it yet - the newest edition is my '17 Ram 3500 dually quadcab 4x4 6.7L CTD. Looking to outfit it with another Lance camper soon.
