Yay...! I think the images are up now. My new router that I bought when I had the fibre link replaced by the ISP is really stupid. It has port 80 hardcoded for external admin if enabled. If external admin to the router is disabled the port is still locked down and unusable. Crazy. Now I'm using one of my old routers... zip-tied to the new router. The company doesn't plan to release a firmware update for this. Sooo... the new router serves only hi-power wireless egg poaching... Please let me know if the images are still not coming through. Here's a test image below: ![]() |

130 pages of images back online :-) OK. I had a server melt-down last July and finally have the 5 gigs of images back up for this thread. I had been thinking of removing the thread but then thought someone may find everyones input useful. So, the pics are back up until the next glitch... ![]() |

Bad boy sold. Bought a garage queen 2005 LJ to play with. I just couldn't continue wotking on it with my back the way it is. For it to be a "Jim Job" I would have wanted to pull the tub a few more times for many jobs to do it just right. I found the LJ on internet, while sitting in the Ottawa Ontario airport, and was a happy second owner 24 hours later. No I don't mind at all selling the Scrambler. It was a great experience and I also built a shop that I can retire into in another 77 working Fridays from now. As pristine as the LJ with 60,000 miles on it was, it did take some work. It failed the inspection bringing it inot the province. It had leaky rear axle seals so I had to zip off the retainer rings and bearings from the axles... I used to dislike doing this job... but it turns out that the Jeep Dana 44 axle shafts fit in my press and the 1.9 od HSS tube I have made a perfect tool for pressing everything back together. While I was at it I did both front universals (one cup of 8 was dry...), installed new D30 pumpkin seals and 2 new hubs, a belt tensioner and pulley and idler pulley, a new water pump while repairing a leaking thermostat gasket (it had white bathroom caulking on it...) and thermostat, put on some 8 lug 35s and a 3" lift and hated it then went to 2" with its new Wrangler 31s and Bilstiens on 4 corners. There isn't a speck of rust on it. It has a rebuilt front driveshaft and a new rad. I put a new bumper and 12000 lb winch on it. I'm happy! |
