That seems logical...

I just didn't know if it was that simple, plus wanted to see what the original looked like if possible. They both slide great, just didn't know till removed why the seat didn't adjust. Looks as though when the lever was disengaged, it didn't allow the opposite lever to disengage. Thanks for the help and anyone with a picture, please don't hesitate to post.

Thanks,
Brad

Jeep-N-0311 Jeep Driver's Side Seat Mount w/Slider CJ5/CJ7/CJ8 - eBay (item 220709533523 end time Dec-17-10 13:13:37 PST)

Look at that.

That said, seems those always used to have problems / hang up. Does it slide correctly? Does the off-side slide OK? Or, do you have to pull the latch-looking part away to make that side slide? If so, can you just connect a wire across to activate it when you throw the main lever?

1980 CJ5 Front Seat Brackets????

I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of their front seat brackets with the seats removed. I am in the process of trying to clean mine up and it looks as though on the drivers side I am missing some kind of link from one side to the other. The lever works the outermost slider, but seems as though there is something that is supposed to attach it to the innermost slider. I will try and get a picture of what I am talking about in a while.

Thanks,
Brad

Here is a picture is anyone wants to know what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help....
