lfhoward Hi Greg,
The 08 Liberty has electrical actuator motors to change the mode and blend the temperature. No vacuum hoses to be found.

Read through this thread for instructions on how to troubleshoot and change out the mode door and blend door. Hopefully the actuator motor just needs replacing. That’s easy. Replacing the door itself with the gears requires taking the dash off. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB...?f=104&t=82363

2008 Liberty - Stuck on Defrost & At Feet

Just this week my 2008 Liberty wouldn't change out of sending the cold air to the defrost AND to the lower vents at the feet. I've look around and it talks about the vacuum hoses and blenders and air flap actuators. THe issue is that I want to check if its the vacuum hoses, and I can't even tell if I have them on a 2008 Liberty. All the posts say to look for the T connection near the firewall, and I looked forever and couldn't find it. I'm curious if anyone has any pointers, or a diagram, or any additional advice on fixing this issue.

Thanks!!!

(my first post since just joining, thanks for all your help!!)

Greg
