Honestly, because I'm lazy and there's not a lot of scrap yards around here. There's a few but I'm not sure if they're going to have anything. I did a search online and there may be a dodge truck that might work....but no jeeps or xj's. And I really don't want to go and spend 3 hours to find something that doesn't exist. And the luck that I have, I usually will get a screw or nail in my tire when I go.

Why not go to a scrap yard and pull one off an old xj or other one that matches.

Ignition Coil Pigtail

I ended up replacing my ignition coil yesterday and noticed that the pigtail's clip is cracked. While it works, I'm afraid that sooner or later, it's going to wiggle out and make the car die.

I was wondering if anybody has a link or suggestion for a new pigtail for the ignition coil. I *think* the "STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS S727" pigtail may work, but I read a comment that somebody had to shave some of the plastic off to make it work, but I'm not sure of the coil he was putting it on though.
