I tried to clean the fuse box but could not really get in there. The power terminal that is attached to the front of the box that leads to the battery was twisted. It appeared that the copper lead that runs to the flasher fuse is not making contact. There is no power to #9 but #10 has power. I tried to squeeze the terminal back into place but no luck. It would read 12V then 3V then nothing. Very erratic. What I did was I used a jump wire from the power lead bolt on the outside of the PDC to the power side inside the PDC. Inserted the fuse and now the hazards are working. Do you know of any type of cleaners that I could use to try to see if it is just corrosion? Or do you think the PDC needs replacing? Thanks Mike |

higgo9673 | There is a lot of corrosion on the PDC panel The main lead is right near fuse 39. Will attempt to clean it as I can not seem to get any voltage off the fuse |

Kruzin | Are you sure the turn signals are all working properly? Not just flashing indicators on the dash, verify all of the bulbs are actually blinking. Sometimes a front signal/park light will be out, but the turn signals will still seem like they're working fine. |

mukluk | The turn signals and hazards get power from different sources. Check fuse 9 in your PDC to see if it's blown or not getting power through it. If that's good, disconnect the plug from the turn signal switch and make sure you're getting battery power through at pin 6, BK/WT wire. |

Hazards not working I have reviewed several threads in the forum on this topic. I have a 1999 TJ with a hazard issue. The turn signals are fine but the hazards do not come on. I replaced both the turn signal switch assembly and the relay under the steering column. No change in the result. Hazards not working. Does anyone have an idea of what may be wrong?? Mike |
