GAragecouple Swapped our exhaust cut-off valve with a 2.5 inch thrush welded muffler - it turned out amazing!

cranbiz Yup, The first time I ever did Daniel, I was on 33's, a front lunchbox locker and 2.5" of lift. That was probably 4 years ago. I needed some careful lines and spotting but it wasn't nearly as difficult as it has become.

Same to some respect to Dickey Bell, which is why we now have an illegal bypass to the rock section.

I try to place my tires about 1/4 of the way up, not sure I would want to put them up on top. Just slightly turned passenger usually does it of course with minor adjustments along the wall.

A lot has changed in 6 years on the front side of Daniel. It's a lot more fun now.

Itís funny, the last time I did it in my 4 banger TJ on 31s with a 2Ē BB lol. So yes, it has changed a lot, for the better

iwasjeepdan Got rid of two annoying dash alarm/lights on Daughters 2011 JKU by replacing clock spring and EGR Valve.

Then on a happy note, I upgraded the four speakers to 77KICK10s. What a difference that made

GAragecouple Added super cheap LED sidemarkers to our JK today..We cut our own fenders and wanted to replace the OEM sidemarker lights. Was surprised by how easy and cheap it is.

NoCheapJeeps The best of times, the worst of times.

Tried fixing my misaligned passenger door but can't seem to figure out why the top hinge isn't sitting flush with the bottom. The bottom hinge is fine. Closing the door makes a "nice" thunk.

On a happier note, installed my new Hooke Road Rear Cargo shelf. Hooke saw fit to include no instructions so I had to play the guessing game which size Allen wrenches and socket to use but it all went together with some fuss and now I can make loadouts depending on what I'm doing or just carry extra gear when needed. Allegedly holds 300 lbs. of stuff...we'll see...we'll see

cranbiz 10 years on the axle housing itself. G2 doesn't warranty the ball joints from wearing out, especially on 37's. I know that Mevotech has a lifetime warranty on their Terrain Tough ball joints and did cover wear on a set I had installed on my old D30.

I'm getting tired of pulling the axle completely apart to replace ball joints. I decided on the Dynatracs simply because you can rebuild them in the axle and they are probably the best ball joint out there. Rare Parts ball joints are just as much initially as the Dynatracs, while rebuildable, it's only the lower joint and they have multiple reports of premature wear and a worthless warranty. At some point in time, the Dynatracs are going to be more cost effective for me than simply putting in Synergys or Teraflexes. On 37's, I expect to be going thru ball joints every 18-24 months. You gotta pay to play.

zjeb67 Tucked the seatbelts behind the plastic covers on the pillars. Hoping this will stop the seatbelts from flapping when driving doorless.

RubiconFreedom thanks to @Harriedtwo and others who favored my comment. Even though I helped this fellow with his jeep and I shouldn't have been lifting those hard metal doors myself either. It just happen to be on a good day and the right thing to do. I felt I was well enough to give a fellow jeep owner some help, but ended up hurting my back this morning. So was it worth it? Yes even if I had ended up in the hospital. Thus another reason we special ordered the factory half doors on our jeep.

Nothing new to report this morning other than our road trip is coming up and I'll need to check all the fuilds as well as have Valvoline shoot some grease in the ball jointed Moog Steering.

Here's something through the grape vine, I overheard my wife saying something about teardrop trailers. So I have a feeling we'll be attending a couple of RV shows soon and might have a chance to have the shop mount up a tow package for us.

Also, I tried to convince the wife to get the Rampage soft top instead of the side steps. But she said she would rather have the TnT side steps. Once we order these I'll disassemble them and we'll either drive to our powder coaters now that we have the color and have them shoot the side steps.
