|Fast55||I can't imagine it would be different for any of the newer models and my '17 doesn't do that. I will say I don't think the HVAC system is very accurate and seems to put out a lot of heat as it approaches the temp setting you select and tends to overshoot your set point before settling down and controlling to temperature. Just the fact that it decides to blow air through the dash when you've manually selected floor only leads me to believe you have a problem. I'd see your dealer about it.|

Question on 2019 JGC Heater Operation
I am curious about the correct heater operation on my new 2019 JGC HA and would appreciate some input.
When the heat is set to manual (not auto) say at 72degress with the outside temp at 30 degrees, with the vent direction set to blow towards your feet. After the car warms up it will intermittently blow cool (much cooler than 72 degrees) air through the dash vents (vents pointed at the driver and passenger). It will do this every10 minutes or so for 3-4 minutes.
This chills both the driver and passenger and does not seem to make any sense. If the heat were on auto this could happen but I do not think it should on manual. The Jeep has 2,000 miles on it and I just started noticing this phenomenon recently.
Does your JGC do this?
Thanks in advance for your input.
