SecondTJ yea its been done plenty of times, and it still easy to take the doors off, just unplug them with simple male/female connectors

dougolupski Here is a link to one type of actuator that I have used. If you can find the DEI one I think they are a little nicer. If you want to install an alarm you just need two actuators two 30amp relays and one or two switches.

kmagnuss I've done it on a couple of cars before. It's pretty easy, and pretty cheap too. It's basically just a couple of plungers $15 pair, two solenoids $6 each, and either a two way momentary switch ($2) or hook it up to a car alarm. There's stuff all over the internet about how to do it exactly.

power locks

anyone install power locks on a TJ before? I am thinking about doing it and wanted to know how difficult it is. Thanks!
