I have a CNC bender but I can never seem to get perfect bends like that without either flattening one side or putting ripples on the inside of the bend. My bull bar is slightly flattened on the bends because of that.
Actually I cheated. Itís my old radiator hoop and stinger from Blue Torch fab. I just carefully cut it off my old bumper and welded it to the new one.

I have a JD2 thatís been converted to hydro but havenít really started messing with it yet. That will be pulled out in a week or two though when I start building the roll cage

daddyjeep87 In preparation for a trip to Rausch Creek next weekend... oh yeah, anybody want to go to Rausch next weekend? Anyway, as I was saying, I am getting around to installing the TJ DD brake booster. I am tired of having marginal brakes.

Old, wimpy single diaphragm booster

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1M10...ew?usp=sharing

New, beefy double diaphragm booster

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MNt...ew?usp=sharing

It is just setting in place for the paint to dry. I still need to modify the linkage once I refill me welding gas.

PS. Something has changed. Google Drive has changed their shareable link format. I will need to sort out the new method of uploading.

moncada881 The jeep air kit finally arrived yesterday but today i got started by removing the old alternator brackets and installing the new brackets with the compressor and the alternator mounted on top. Quite frankly the quality so far is good but for **** sake Jeep air cant make instructions for ****. the diagrams were completely wrong. Anyways, here the finished product for today.

daddyjeep87 I fixed my snorkel that I got tangled up in a multiflora rose bush the last time out. I built it a little stronger this time.

oh yeah... I added some makeshift fender flares to hopefully keep from filling the interior with mud. One of these days I will buy some steel tubing to build proper flares.

Going to throw this on keeping the same fluid and see what difference it makes.

It's massive... you can serve a medium pizza on this thing!
I added a filter too, almost another quart of fluid and they have one with a temp sender in it

Interesting.

I do have a deep pan... so I get another quart out of that.

Not going too crazy here. YJ gets retired later this year, just want to drive it comfortably and then we can get into future plans.

Who knows? May not have this transmission much longer after that. Wife and I are planning to sell the condo and buy a house in the outskirts. (Read: buy a garage and a daily driver) lol
