SteveROntario I bought a stainless fuel tank because it was available. Now I need to decide which vehicle gets it installed.

2005JGC Thoughts? I am trying to figure out what to do with the tow hitch... I figured the bumper would hang down low enough that it would look normal. It is hanging down lower than anticipated. The lower crash brace/subframe/slider is going to be cut out and the charcoal canister is going to be relocated to the inside of said rails that are going to be cut out.

I am going to make this out of 3/16" steel and I have some shackle mounts that are going to be welded in the bumper and directly to the mounts (that are going to be directly above the subframe that is going to be cut out because that is where the frame/structure is on the jeep.

Future plans would be like a tree bar that goes up out of the flat behind the wheel, follows the angle of the tail light, then turns and goes under the window terminating at the back of the rear door on a plate that gets bolted on.

Also, dual swing arm is 100% a go. Ill build and piece that together after getting the bumper welded up and mounted.

Arneb04 Nothing huge but were all getting locked down and the weather is shaping up so I spent some time going over the chrome on my limited with eagle one chrome polish. All the rust trying to grow on the bull bar after the long winter came right off. Looks good again.

underscore Today I tried to see if I could repurpose the satellite radio input to the head unit to give me an aux in. Unfortunately with no subscription the stereo apparently ignores whatever is coming in those pins. It also only lets you turn the volume down so you'd have to switch to CD and then back to turn it up which would be annoying.

This weekend the WK got new shoes (Cooper Discoverer ATP's) and an alignment.

Everything is right with my Jeep world right now...

rockawaywk Installed a Goliath Off Road front skid with shackles. Love the way it looks and really protects what it needs to. Install wasn't necessarily fun but got it done with a friend and a 6 pack.

underscore I finally swapped my partly broken passenger mirror for a new one, and in the process I think I found the source of the occasional rattle in the door which is nice. Then I swapped out my sometimes noisy blower motor, so hopefully my commute (when it starts up again) is a little quieter.

Shovelhead80 https://www.molle-platform-solutions.com/#

I have less that 10lbs on mine and the only complaint is they kind of just screw into your ceiling which isn’t it the most secure , but they were the only options I’ve seen. I thought about buying some larger screws and spacers. To just slowly see if I can get into just part of my roof but not go through.

Please?! I would love to know more about these as well. How much weight are you comfortable putting on those with them attached to the trim like that?
