Questions before buying (having trouble)

So I am in the market for buying a new car and I have always wanted a Jeep. I have come across the 2019 Jeep Compass and I am very interested in the Trailhawk trim. I am not the most knowledgeable about cars but I know the basics. I have been researching and visiting dealers to narrow down which model and what specs I would want. Yesterday while searching the web, I came across results of some reviews that were hidden on a website off Truecars and Kelleybluebook talking about different problems where the car shuts off while driving. There were about 13 comments where people on the forum gave their reviews and they were not good. Most of them talked about the car shutting off at red lights and stop signs or where the dash components LCD screens would stop working (all of these models being brand new less than 10K miles). SO my question for anyone is have you ever experienced or heard any thing of the sort happening? Did anyone have problems with their 2018/2019 Compass Trailhawk models??? Does anyone like this model ?

Thank you for taking the time and helping me out! again if anyone has heard of any major problems please post it will help me out big time.

I take those reviews with a grain of salt. What were the model years of the engines shutting off? I knew it was an issue 10 plus years ago. My 2016 with 2.4 engine doesn't die. It sometimes idles rough. It takes spark plugs every 30,000 miles. That bit of preventive maintenance makes all the difference.

As far as the screen dying, it is a 2019 and would have a warranty for a little while at least. The Compass is not an expensive ride, it is really an excellent value.

My 2016:

Pros:
Size, compact. Nice for zipping around town. It is also a con.
Handles snow really well. The 4x4 makes it good for getting around most obstacles.
Comfortable
Controls are straight forward.

Cons:
Size, sometimes some more room would be dandy.
Fuel tank size, only have a range of about 300 miles. It isn't all bad, it is inverse to my bladder on road trips.
The interior could have been a bit nicer.

Mine is an older generation than what you're looking at. However, it is mostly the same. I like the styling of the 19s. However, I would go with a Cherokee if I was going to trade. For now I plan to keep my ride.
