High Mileage Compass Worth It for DD?

Looking at a cheap 2008 Compass with over 100k for a daily driver? Drive 80 miles a day for work. Suggested? Any major issues?

I'm actually in this same predicament. Looking to pick up a cheap (aka high mileage and older) Jeep Compass or Patriot for some daily driving.

Besides the CVT being junk, any other suggestions or things I should be weary of?

Thanks.

I had to have my ETC replaced after two years, 40k miles, after warranty to the tune of $523.
Makes me nervous for the future.
My 5.0L Mountaineer had no major issues for the first 10 years of driving it. See the reservations?

I haven't heard of many people having their ETC control replaced that soon, yes it did happen but is not an accurate measure of the patriot/compass reliability. I"ve owned a patriot (08 FDII) and 2012 Compass (FDII) over the course of 7 years, and neither one of them have had any electrical issues. Neither one has had an issue that wasn't attributed to the **** and abuse I put them through offroad. They are pretty reliable vehicles in my opinion.
