Can't remove wheel

Removed all 5 lugs on our '14 patriot, and the wheel won't come off. Doesn't look rusted or anything. Smacked the tire in and out with a sledge hammer. Nothing. Anyone have this issue?

Old school with steel wheels and drum brakes this was common.
Not advised with aluminum.
very carefully in driveway - with the lugs a little loose - drive the jeep back and forth a little steering input to load the wheel in turn and the wheel should 'let go' -

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

thanks. I'll try that. Have never seen this happen on my personal vehicles. This is a company vehicle with 29k mi in good shape.
