2013 Patriot Warranty question

My daughter has a 13 Patriot purchased from a Jeep dealer as certified/used a few years ago. We bought an extended warranty through Jeep which obviously we cannot find the paperwork for. Just a shot in the dark question, would struts be something covered under an extended warranty? Or are they just a wear and tear type item like brakes? ANy Jeep associates that can check a VIN?

you can ask dealer BUT I do not thnk suspension would be covered. They will have a copy of warranty available.

You do NOT have to use a jeep dealer for this repair.
I would want a second opinion if struts are bad, they are a high replacement part esp at some tire shops, often condemned unnecessarily.

FYI @ 3.5 hrs labor and @ 100$ per strut.

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

I had a 2006 Commander and they replaced the struts under Lifetime/Maxcare.
jtec likes this.

When we do right, no one remembers. When we do wrong, no one forgets.

Im head of warranty at a dealer in Norway. Normally that would go under "Goodwill" not warranty. I you just bought the car they should cover it for you.
The extended warranties have diffierent limitations, depending on what you pay for it.
