2010 Jeep Compass Coolant Sensor Removal?

Ok I am a YJ guy but bought a 2010 Compass for my daughter. It had low temperature problems so I decided to replace both temperature sensors and the thermostat housing. Already did the thermostat work and the temp sensor in that. But how do you get at the temp sensor on the engine block?
I just got the service cd in the mail today. Not impressed. It doesn’t tell me the disassembly procedure on how to get to it. I want to know the minimum number of things to remove to get to that sensor.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
